Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Ursinus College in 2002 and received her medical training from Drexel University and obtained a Master’s in Health Science in 2005. Sarah is a board-certified Physician Assistant, has been working in the field of HIV medicine for the last 18 years, and is certified by The American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) as an HIV Specialist. She also has experience in a wide array of clinical areas including primary care, LGBTQIA+ care, chronic disease management, infectious disease care, sexual health, pre-exposure prophylaxis, mental health care and substance abuse treatment including the delivery of medication assisted treatment.

Sarah also received a certification in Herbal Medicine from the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences in 2012 and completed training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in 2018. Sarah is an active member in the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants (PSPA).

Sarah has extensive experience in the areas of patient safety, risk management and quality improvement.
