Our History

At AbsoluteCare, we know how health affects every aspect of our lives. That’s why we work so passionately—and compassionately—on improving member safety and quality of care for our members so they get the most out of life.

We opened the first of AbsoluteCare’s comprehensive care centers in Atlanta in 2000, with a primary focus on treating members with HIV/AIDS. We quickly became an HIV Center of Excellence, achieving impressive results: an 88 percent retention rate and a 97 percent undetectable rate.

A surprising thing happened. With so many of them free of the symptoms of HIV/AIDS, our members sought primary care from us. They were coming to our comprehensive care centers for help controlling asthma, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and all the other conditions that life and aging had thrown their way.

So we transformed.

We assembled a larger team of qualified, passionate practitioners to offer whole-life care in a new, larger community medical care center. In the last two decades, we have expanded our facilities to multiple locations in several states, offering our members everything from primary care to nutrition counseling, behavioral health, and life services.

The members who set foot in one of AbsoluteCare’s comprehensive care centers will be treated with our whole person care model. Our true focus remains on patient satisfaction and quality of care for everyone we see.
