Let’s talk about your beans…your kidneys!

Your kidneys work day and night to help keep your body in balance. But sometimes, they can start to struggle without you feeling any different. Kidney disease often has no symptoms at first. It’s often called a silent disease — until it’s found through testing. Finding changes early gives us more time and more options to protect your health before serious problems begin.

What Affects Kidney Health?

Diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, drug use, family history, some medicines, alcohol exposure, and lack of physical activity can affect kidney health.

What Is CKD?

Chronic Kidney Disease, or CKD, is also called renal disease. It is kidney damage that can get worse over time if not treated.

How Do I Know My Kidneys Are OK?

Kidney disease often starts quietly. Many people feel healthy and do not know they have it. Testing is the best way to know.

Can CKD Be Cured?

You can live well with kidney disease and even kidney failure. Treatments are available to help significantly slow disease progression and help you live a healthier, longer life. We can help.
